Kron PAM’s built-in MFA can be used as an enhanced security level for HTTP Proxy. When the user opens a web browser, the user is asked for the Kron PAM credentials to connect to the HTTP Proxy. After the successful credential login, if MFA is activated for HTTP Proxy, an MFA token is asked from the user. If the Kron PAM Desktop Client is used, the MFA token is asked when the user opens the web page.

The Kron PAM mobile client can be used as an online or offline token generator. A hard token can also be used. The token generated by the Kron PAM mobile app is entered into Firefox to log into the related web page with an HTTP Proxy.
